Football club Paris Saint-Germain Names Crypto.com as Cryptocurrency Partner. The agreement will include the issuing of exclusive NFT’s on the Crypto.com NFT platform. The partnership is just the latest example of the growing intersection of professional soccer and crypto. 📰 Coindesk

Blockstream to pilot renewable Bitcoin mining facility with Australia’s Macquarie Group. Macquarie, best known as a multinational investment bank, will utilize Blockstream’s crypto mining facilities and tap into the firm’s expertise in mining-hardware hosting, Blockstream said Wednesday. 📰 Coindesk

First Crypto Fund in Japan Targets Long-Term Retail Investors. Japanese financial conglomerate SBI Holdings Inc. is aiming to launch the country’s first cryptocurrency fund by the end of November that can give individual investors a way to diversify their broader portfolio. 📰 Bloomberg

Rakuten to launch NFT marketplace The Rakuten NFT marketplace will follow a similar route to Jack Ma’s Alibaba-based NFT platform, as it is aimed at enabling IP holders to sell their tokenized content from categories such as sports, entertainment, music and anime. 📰 Cointelegraph

Bitcoin falls on El Salvador news. A 10% price crash and technical issues with the government’s official Chivo Wallet have marred the debut of Bitcoin as legal tender in El Salvador. 📰 Decrypt

Solana tops $200 as Google Search Data shows peak retail interest. SOL’s rally, however, may cool because web search figures show the peak popularity of the token in the general populace. That’s often observed at major price tops. 📰 Coindesk
